The PS3 is the video game system that you’ll want if you want video games that are more traditionally geared towards frequent gamers and/or want video game system that can double as a hi-def DVD player. The PS3 is currently the only video game system that uses a Blu-ray drive. So you can watch HD Blu-ray movies on the PS3. Neither the Wii or XBOX 360 has this function. This dramatically increases whatt you get for the money. It is a gaming system, and HD Blu-ray player. A Blu-ray player alone can cost over $400. Plus, the PS3 was rated the best Blu-ray player. To wrap it up, if you want a high performance gaming machine that can double as a Blu-ray player, then the PS3 is the video game system to get.

The XBOX 360 is for both harcore gamers and non-frequesnt gamers. The reason that you would buy an XBOX 360 over a Nintendo Wii is because of the more mainstream game selection, better graphics and performance, and games that are more targeted to older gamers. It is you “everyday gamers” console.

Long has Nintendo dominated the portable gaming market. Year after year they have released the most innovative, most inventive, and most fun portable gaming systems. There is everything from Mario Kart, to portable Guitar Hero, to Brain Age, a game that helps keep your mind and memory sharp. The PSP is for portable gamers who want good graphics, and the ability to watch movies on thier portable gaming system. The problem is, PSP movies can ONLY be played on the PSP, and they cost $15. If you want to watch movies on the go, then you are better off getting a portable DVD player or watching them on a laptop. However, if you want a performance portable gaming system, then the PSP is for you.
