And that’s just what’s cooking on the kitchen side. On the other side of the 50’s Diner play set is booth seating for two lucky patrons. It’s the best seat in the house with a kitchen view so they can can watch what’s going on in the kitchen. The little cooks can grill up some hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, dish up some soft serve ice cream cones, sundaes and pie. Condiments include bottles of ketchup and mustard. Other accessories include a coffee pot (with bubbling sounds) and cups, dishes and silverware, a griddle pan (with sizzling sounds) and a spatula.
While customers are waiting for their orders to be cooked up on the kitchen side, they can turn on the tabletop jukebox and listen to 3 hip, 50’s style tunes—and who knows, maybe some dancing might break out. And when the electronic service bell rings, you know what that means; your order is up, hot off the grill or out of the fryer or how about some soft serve out of the icebox.
The kitchen and booth seating for two and all of the accessories are well made, and mostly made in the United States; however, some parts are made in China. The 50’s Diner is a great place for kids aged 2 and up, to cook up some grub for their friends, and even for parents who want to rehash the happy days.
