Little People Airport

We will admit that we are fans of Fisher-Price’s Little People line because all of the toys and products reflect realistic situations and people. The playsets allow children to have fun while learning about the world they live in. The Fisher-Price Little People Airport resembles a real-working airport with runways, planes, people, a restaurant, and even a traffic tower. It’s a rather large playset, but that’s only because of the runways and those can be detached if space is a concern. In fact, the entire item comes apart for easy storage. There’s a lot to like about this choice.

Ready for Takeoff

The Fisher-Price Little People Airport is easy to assemble. Snap a few pieces together here and there, and start having fun. A pilot comes with the bright orange airplane, which is great but it would have been fun to have some space for at least one passenger. Additionally, there’s no driver for the taxi either. Aside from those minor concerns, there are a lot of fun features to be excited about. The helicopter can land on top of the control tower and all of the movable parts are easy to handle for any two-year-old. The age range for this toy is quite wide, as kids as old as five will still enjoy playing with it. They’ll have fun moving the taxi, airplane and helicopter around the track — landing and taking off. The airport restaurant is fun to play with, and the pieces of luggage, windsock and parasol add to the realism.

No Electronic Bells and Whistles

Some children may not find the Fisher-Price Little People Airport as exciting as other play airports or other choices because it does not offer any additional electronic features, such as flashing lights, sounds or battery-operated pieces. While other children may love it because they can imitate sounds and move the airplane and helicopter around on their own. The airport is also compatible with other choices in the product line. If your child loves to play with these toys, this set would be a great addition to their world. Kids can use other cars and figurines with the new set for additional fun. This set retails for around $60.00. It’s a bit less expensive than other choices in the line, but that’s probably because it doesn’t come with electronic parts. Parents will be paying for the use of imagination and not for electronic bells and whistles.
