For any child who is a fan of Batman and Robin, this is a must have addition to the Dark Knight collection for the toddler set. This is one of the better products from the Fisher-Price Imaginext line because it is reasonably priced and offers many fun and exciting features as well. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the Batcave, and we love that the hottest name in toys decided to turn it into a toddler item. There’s so much going on, kids will never grow bored. The toy includes Batman and Robin figurines, a computer command center, a Batcycle, and additional Batman accessories. The set is rather large, yet is folds easily for storage. It is one of the hot toys for Christmas 2009.

Exciting Features

Like all of toys in this line, the Imaginext Batcave has a variety of action points that trigger exciting action, sounds and/or movement. When discovered, kids will delight in using them again and again in order to help bring their imagination to life. For example, the hook on the front of the toy can be lowered or raised simply by with the press of a button. There’s also a real working elevator, a revolving front door and a magical portal that can transport Batman and Robin to the other side of the toy. There are five action points in all, and each one adds a bit of fun to imaginary play. The overall design of the toy is impressive. It was made to look like a real cave, yet the figurines and accessories are chunky and durable enough for preschoolers to handle. Parents with kids who are fans of the caped-crusader should consider adding this toy to their toy box.

No Complaints

Aside from some minor assembly, we don’t have any complaints about the Imaginext Batcave. For $50.00, it’s a durable toy that has the potential to keep young imaginations active for hours on end. We love that the set includes both Batman and Robin. Additional figurines, such as the Joker and the Penguin, can also be purchased. The company also makes replacement figurines incase Batman and Robin are misplaced. The entire set folds neatly in half and is light enough for any child to carry. So cleanup after playtime is over isn’t going to be an issue. There are plenty of other toys that are far more expensive and don’t offer as many features. With the Imaginext Batcave, what you see is what you get. And in this case, you are getting a lot.
