MySims Kingdom is a sequel to MySims for both the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii, developed and published by Electronic Arts. Unlike the original MySims entry, though, MySims Kingdom places your virtual persona in Medieval times. So, instead of ordering pizza and calling your friends over to play video games on that awesome new flatscreen TV, you’re getting your horse fitted with new shoes and riding to your friends to joust in this kid’s toy.

MySims Kingdom looks and plays much like the previous MySims title on the Nintendo DS. Like MySims, MySims Kingdom will maintain the cute, child-friendly art style in the characters and environment, and like the original MySims, some of the more tedious tasks of micromanaging the every individual need of your Sim has been removed in order to provide a more casual, pick up and play feel to the game.

One of the most appealing qualities to these top toys is the ability to help expand and grow your Sim. Unlike other entries in the Sims franchise, MySims and MySims Kingdom will allow you to actually get hands-on with your Sim, being able to actually play with your Sims character. Some of the things you will be able to do that you weren’t able to do in The Sims include taking pictures and going fishing. Of course, because MySims Kingdom is set during medieval times, you won’t be taking too many images.

MySims Kingdom is rated E for Everyone, making the game safe for people of all ages as well as one of the best toys around.
