Lego has created this 90-piece green set of army men to go along with their other great Toy Story collectibles. This group includes pieces that will complete an army jeep and has four figures. The figures include a doctor with a medical bag, a soldier with a gun, a soldier with a walky-talky and one with a metal detector. The jeep components are durable, well-built, and easy to assemble. These pieces are designed to withstand rugged play.
The LEGO Toy Story Army Men on Patrol is all about rescue efforts. Everyone knows that a soldier’s motto is never to leave a fallen comrade behind. In this Toy Story scenario, one of the army’s finest gets injured and his buddies all pull together, using the equipment at their disposal, to care for him and transport him to the nearest hospital for help.

Accessories that come with this Lego set include two rifles (remember, you can always use one for spare parts if needed), two radios (a communication must-have), two binoculars, one briefcase, one backpack, and one stretcher. A base plate is also included so you can position the men just where they need to be. These plates can make the foundation for many hours of changing stories and moving people and parts around. The figures have removable stands that snap on to the base plate, or they can stand without being attached to the base.
All kids love Legos, and they love Toy Story, too. What could be a better combination? The LEGO Toy Story Army Men on Patrol pieces are great for educational purposes, as well as imaginative and creative play. They can help with your child’s motor skills and they are fun at the same time. The recommended ages are from 6 to 12, but, as with all Lego toys, they can be enjoyed by all ages. You never get too old to enjoy the versatility of Legos.
This set is actually the first one that Lego has ever done of army or military men. From that fact alone, it becomes a very collectible set. Lego toys have been popular for many years due to their durability and ease of play. With this army set, for the first time, your little one can play soldier with a true Lego system.
As shown on the box of the LEGO Toy Story Men on Patrol, it is the soldier with the metal detector, or mine sweeper that gets injured. The medic has a flak jacket on just like the other soldiers, but also has a cross on his helmet to indicate his occupation. Your little one can play for hours with just these pieces, let alone finding out what happens when you combine this set with other Lego toys.
