Children love the idea of owning their own pet, but this doesn’t often work out. Now there are Zhu Zhu pets to fill in the void. These fun little creatures are great for children who want to have their own animal but who don’t want to have to take care of one.
Why Do Kids Love Them So Much?
It may seem strange to some parents that kids are so excited about Zhu Zhu pets toys, but actually once you know all about them, it’s not so strange. These items give you the feeling of having your own animal without having to actually take care of one. They are collectible and all of the parts connect, making it easy for children to create a whole world for their play things.
Individual Hamsters: Mr Squiggles, Num Nums, Pipsqueek and Chunk
There are four different hamsters that children can currently get for their collection. Each of the hamsters, which include Mr. Squiggles, Num Nums, Pipsqueek, and Chunk, have their own personality, even though they do a great deal of the same thing. These hamsters all have fun sounds to listen to and can be loved in loving mode. Put them in explore mode and they’ll scamper across the floor. The only thing to watch out for is them disappearing, which is why having the habitats to go with them is an excellent idea, as it keeps them in one area instead of running under a couch or stove.
Funhouse Set
The Funhouse Set is a must-have accessory for the popular Zhu Zhu pets. This set is a great way for children to play with their hamsters without having to worry about them getting into things or disappearing under the sofa. This set is great because it features a number of little items that are fun to play with, but also because it has tons of connections available where you can attach on other pieces, making it very versatile and a staple for any lover of these pets. It’s a bit tricky to learn to put together, but once you figure it out, it gets easier to put together the next time.
Adventure Ball
When you have a real hamster, one of the most enjoyable things is watching them run around in a plastic ball. These creative little things can do the same thing thanks to the Adventure Ball. This ball is designed to work specifically for Zhu Zhu pets hamster toys (and it is not a good idea to put real hamsters in it) and allows them to be able to run across the floor without parents having to worry that they are going to get lost underneath a piece of furniture. This ball works with all four of the hamsters and is complete when it arrives, with no assembly required.
Surfboard and Sleep Dome
Where does an animal go when it needs to sleep? How about in their Surfboard and Sleep Dome? This dome attaches to the habitat and includes the dome, a surfboard, and a connector. It’s a great addition for any habitat and gives the hamster not only a place to sleep, but a place to surf!
Hamster Wheel
What’s more fun than watching a hamster race around a Hamster Wheel? Not much! The add on Hamster Wheel is a great addition to any Zhu Zhu pets hamster toy habitat, and allows the hamster to get some exercise in its home, and for children to enjoy watching it race around and around and around!
Ramp and Slide
With the Ramp and Slide, hamsters can go up the ramp and then around and down the giant slide! Who wouldn’t want to watch a hamster go up and down? With this kit, it’s easy to add this fun piece onto your child’s habitat, thanks to the connectors that come with it.
Skateboard and U-Turn
This is one of the smaller add-ons, but is one of the more fun as well! The Skateboard and U-Turn allows hamsters to be able to race around on their own skateboard all by themselves! This set is easily added onto an existing habitat and makes watching the hamsters even more fun!
Garage
The Garage is one of the more amazing connections to the Zhu Zhu pets habitat. This allows the pets to be able to travel around in a sedan car and to go into their Garage – the door even magically opens when the hamster gets in front of it!
