The Fisher Price Little People Zoo Train has Sonya Lee, one of the Little People, as the driver, and three train cars to haul animals from one location to another. There is a lion, a parrot and a giraffe included with the set. As a child moves the train, the giraffe spins around in circles, the lion and another animal can do a teeter- totter motion, and the parrot sits and swings on his perch. While this is a great toy to play with alone, it is also a great addition to an animal collection that include the Little People Zoo and the Little People Petting Zoo. With all three items, kids can interchange with animals ride on the train.

We set up Fisher Price Little People Zoo Train reviews with six kids between the ages of eighteen months and four years, which is the manufacturers recommended age range. Parents sat with us and watched as the kids played with the toys. Most of the younger kids could easily detach the pieces of the train, but only the older kids in the group could reattach them. They had lots of fun pushing the trains around the room, although the younger kids in the group didn’t notice that the animals were moving around as they moved the Fisher Price Little People Zoo Train, because they generally were not looking at the train while they were pushing it around.

Any toy that can grab and hold the attention of the youngest kids is more than doing its job in our book. The train’s bright colors, durable plastic characters and musical sounds make it even more appealing to little ones who love stimulation of all the senses. Some of the youngest kids were content to simply grab a little animal toy in each hand and walk around the room checking other things out. For some kids, a toy in each hand is enough to keep them out of mischief, and the toys are also safe for kids who might still be in the mouthing stage. The toys are easy to clean when slobbery playtime is over.

The Fisher Price Little People Castle is one of the many Little People toys available in the World of Little People toy line. The Little People toys are sized just right for tiny hands and are very kid friendly, both in safety and in educational value. Parents have been big fans of these simple yet brilliant toys for decades, and kids love them as well. With all the different play sets available in the line, kids can collect them all and build an entire world of learning and pretend play in their very own bedrooms. Speaking of bedrooms, the Castle has several rooms inside that can be used as bedrooms for the Little People who live in the castle, or the rooms can be used for any other purpose your children can imagine.

The kids who take part in our toy reviews seldom let us down for new and unique ideas for play time variations. The kids who helped with the Fisher Price Little People Castle reviews were no exception. One of the children has apparently been to a number of Renaissance Fairs, and was directing the play in that direction. The Little People in the set were not royalty but actors, and the castle was simply a set. When the fair was over for each day’s performance (each took about five minutes), the actors retired to bedrooms inside the castle and got their beauty sleep for the next day’s festivities. The child directing the play even came up with imaginary money to pay the fair actors at the end of each day. We were amazed at this creative variation on the play we expected to see during our Fisher Price Little People Castle review.

The parents were quite happy with the toys after sitting and watching for a couple of hours. The set encourages cooperative play and there were no conflicts during the play time- surprising for this young age group. The play set includes the castle and all decorative accessories, a king, a queen, a horse, a table and set of two chairs, a bed, and a gate that is intended for use by the horse. There are also a few accessories included for landscaping the area around the castle. The many parts included with the Fisher Price Little People Castle are part of the reason why the set is such a great value.

The other reason that this wonderful toy is such a great buy for parents is that there are many, many hours of wonderful pretend play time packed into this one castle play set. The other Little People play sets can also be added to the set, and with the use of many play sets kids can build an entire city- or an entire world that belongs solely to the childhood imagination. We would highly recommend the Little People Castle play set as well as the rest of the play sets available in the World of Little People collection.

The merry folks at Fisher Price have Christmas thoroughly covered with not one, but several different Christmas themed play sets. We, of course, chose to test two of them during our Fisher Price Little People Christmas reviews and gathered some fantastic information for parents to use in their holiday shopping decisions.

We supplied the group of one to five year old children who participated in our Fisher Price Little People Christmas review process with both sets to play with. As we watched, we could feel the Christmas anticipation in the room growing perceptibly. Simply acting out some of the Christmas preparation activities in pretend play get kids in the mood for the Christmas season.

One of the play sets we tested is the Fisher Price Little People Christmas Village, and it includes tiny Little People versions of Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and one of the elves. The set also includes Santa’s sleigh and a huge wrapped gift to put in the back, a Little People reindeer, a Christmas tree, and a highly decorated and colorful Clause house at the North Pole. Kids can reenact the excitement of Christmas Eve and all the hustle and bustle Santa has to contend with on his biggest night of the year. This set has several pieces that kids love to play with, and since there are four characters, up to four kids can play at once, each with their own characters, without any conflict.

The other Christmas themed Little People play set is the Fisher Price Little People Christmas On Main Street set. This set includes many pieces, including several different stores, a city street lantern style lamp, six Little People shoppers, a sled to carry a very large wrapped package, and several little gifts for the shoppers to carry around. There are a few other pieces included as well. Kids love this one because they could pretend to be Christmas shopping, and kids acted out buying the presents they wanted for themselves. They were twice as excited about Christmas as they were before when play time was over.

Kids love Christmas more than any other holiday because of the presents they receive, and these Fisher Price Little People Christmas play sets both reflect this spirit of the gift giving season. This is the time of the year when kids get super excited and start counting the days until that one magical day of the year when Santa brings items from their wish list while they sleep, and friends and family get together to exchange lots of presents around a highly decorated Christmas tree. While the part adults probably enjoy most is the food and the getting together with extended family they may not see all year, kids are undeniably drawn to Christmas festivities by the promise of lots of goodies wrapped in brightly colored paper. The Fisher Price Little People Christmas sets help to fuel this excitement, and we recommend them both to families who wish to encourage this excitement in their little Christmas fans.
