What is It?
Lego Alien Conquest is part of a line of Lego building toys that is the first to include aliens attacking earth. Kids will want to step in and defend humanity. Characters called ADUs, the Alien Defense Unit, make their way towards peace as the aliens try to take them out. The set includes the traditional Lego blocks as well as pieces kids will never have seen before. It’s a definite collectible.
The Details
Lego Alien Conquest is a proud winner on the best toys 2011 list because it sparks the imaginations of would be astronauts and architects alike. Girls and boys will pass many happy hours battling it out with a ray gun, giving commands over the play microphone, and sedating aliens with a syringe. This set is the first to introduce these pieces in the Lego collection. Five ADU mini figures are included in the set. Dressed in blue uniforms with their iconic yellow faces masked under helmets, these figures include a pilot, rookie, sergeant, soldier and computer specialist. Children will be sure to identify with the heroic jobs of the figures. There’s also a glowing green alien creature. The sets included in the alien theme include Earth Defense Headquarters, an Alien Striker, an Alien Defender and a Tripod Invader. The colors are bright and the possibilities are endless for outer space earth-defending fun. With moving parts that will move the mind and get their creative juices flowing, this Lego set is ideal for budding geniuses from school age on up.
