The Wild Planet Animal Scramble toy is being called one of the best toys for toddlers, and our staff wanted to find out why. One reason has to be that the animal characters are very cute, designed in a whimsical, nursery style way. The pieces are made of plastic, and they seem to be pretty sturdy.
The Wild Planet Animal Scramble works this way: the set comes with a large giraffe which is an electronic tagger, and four smaller animal pieces- a monkey, an elephant, a parrot, and a tiger. The four smaller animals each sit on their own green plastic base for stability on surfaces. The game functions include four different modes: play alone, play with group, memory, and treasure hunt. In play alone mode, the child places the four little animals around the room or even on a table all together. The giraffe then calls out which animal to tag by giving clues like “the animal that is orange and black” or “the animal with wings”. The child picks the right animal and “tags” it with the giraffe. In play with group mode, the game is the same except that the giraffe also announces when it’s another player’s turn. In memory mode, the giraffe names the animals in quick succession, and the child must remember and tag the animals in the proper order. In treasure hunt mode, you or another child hides the animals around the room, and the child finds each animal as the giraffe calls it out. The giraffe tagger keeps track of the time and announces how long it took the child to find all the animals. Dashing around the room trying to find the animals quickly is excellent exercise, and it keeps kids very entertained.
Several Wild Planet Animal Scramble reviews we found call this toy a great learning toy, and some even say it’s one of the best toys 2008. But is it really all they say it is? We like to put reviews like this to the test, so that parents have enough information about a toy or product to decide whether or not to buy it, and that’s not always an easy determination for a parent to make just by looking at the outside of the box or package. Is Animal Scramble really deserving of a title like one of the top toys 2008?

One parent posted a Wild Planet Animal Scramble review because she was so happy with her child’s reaction. This parent was actually writing and posting the review while her kids were playing with the toy, so
it was obviously keeping the kids occupied enough to allow mom to be on the computer.
Another Wild Planet Animal Scramble review was from a parent who expressed concern about the slightly flimsy quality of the plastic bases on the smaller animals. When this parent took the toy out of the box, this was the first thing she noticed about the game. Most Wild Planet Animal Scramble reviews, however, are quite positive, and in several places it is being referred to as one of the top toys of 2008.
The choice whether or not to buy Wild Planet Animal Scramble is ultimately up to you, since only a parent can really know what is right for his or her child. Only you can decide if you agree with the statement being made that Animal Scramble is one of the best toys 2008. While our staff tends to agree that it may be one of the best toys for toddlers, we always like to give the facts about products so that parents and others shopping for kids can make an informed decision.
