LeapFrog Crammer

The LeapFrog Crammer is a LeapFrog learning system designed for older kids who may need some help studying difficult subjects or preparing for quizzes and tests.  It is designed for kids aged eight to fourteen years old.  Unlike other games and electronic toys, this one is specifically designed to help kids study in a fun, interactive way that they’ll never grow tired of.

The LeapFrog Crammer system comes with the Crammer itself, a pair of headphones, a USB cable, and all the instructions and software you’ll need to get started.  The system includes unlimited access to the website, called the Study Edge Interface, so that lots of study materials, pre-designed flashcards, and quizzes can be downloaded directly into the Crammer.

A LeapFrog Crammer review posted by a parent was actually a wise piece of advice for other parents who have bought or are planning to buy LeapFrog Crammer for their child.  This lady’s son took the Crammer to school every day in his backpack because he made his flashcards on his breaks and during his lunch period.  One day when he had a particularly large amount of homework, he had to bring every single one of his textbooks home in his backpack, and the Crammer ended up under all the books.  When the child got home and dropped his heavy backpack on the floor, the Crammer was broken and didn’t work properly anymore.  She ended up having to go out and buy a new one; only this time she also bought the soft carrying case for the system that is sold separately.  With this investment of just a few extra dollars, she is making sure that this one doesn’t get broken.

There are lots of helpful LeapFrog Crammer reviews posted by happy parents who say that their child’s grades have gone up in every single subject thanks to this product.  Kids or parents can design their own flash cards based on the information being taught in each child’s classrooms, or they can log on to the Study Edge Interface on the internet and download literally thousands of flashcards and quizzes- either general information organized by subject, or even some that are based on leading textbooks used currently in schools.

One parent who wrote a LeapFrog Crammer review was extremely pleased at her child’s next report card after she bought the system, and she was so impressed that she took the Crammer with her to her child’s parent- teacher conference and showed the device to her child’s teachers.  The teachers were very impressed, and some of the teachers even said it was ok for the student to use the Crammer in class to make flashcards instead of writing down notes by hand.

Many LeapFrog Crammer reviews say that the system is incredibly easy to use, and kids just love it.  They can use flash cards without having to actually carry around big, bulky stacks of traditional flashcards.  What kids and teens seem to love best about this device is that it also functions as an MP3 player, so they can listen to their favorite tunes while they cram for a test.  No one around them has to hear it, though, because the system includes a set of headphones.  The system is powered by three AAA batteries and the system seems to be quite power efficient.  Kids can get many hours of study time out of one set of batteries, so the maintenance on this system is pretty low.  The device is very user friendly and even has its own help section so that kids can look for the answer to their question about how to use a particular function in the system.
