Giddyup N Go Pony

The advances in technology and toy design in the last decade have been truly amazing.  Toys are capable of doing things these days that the computers of thirty years ago couldn’t do.  Thanks to all these marvelous inventions, it is actually possible to say yes to your child the next time he or she asks for a pony!  No stable required, and this pony will never need to see a vet.  It’s the new Giddyup N Go Pony from Little Tykes, and kids are having a blast riding it.  Parents think it’s one of the best toys available for kids.

The Giddyup N Go Pony is designed for kids ages three to eight years old, and it can hold up to an incredible 160 pounds.  And unlike some other life- sized pony toys on the market, this one actually moves!  A child sits on his back, puts his feet in the sturdy metal stirrups, and bounced up and down.  This movement causes the pony to move, so your child can really make the pony go!  The pony’s tail swishes back and forth as the pony moves.  The Giddyup N Go Pony has other life- life functions as well.  Push on his left ear and he will make a galloping sound; push on his right ear to make him whinny and snort.

The Giddyup N Go Pony has really caught on as one of the top toys 2008 for kids because they get a great exercise workout while they are having fun riding.  Kids also think this is one of the best toys 2008 they could get because it is so life- like.  And as anyone who rides real horses will tell you, riding a real horse is a great workout too.  Parents love toys that can give their kids some exercise, especially in the computer age where many kids spend all their time with their electronics and get very little physical activity.

There are a few safety precautions that should be observed though.  Parents will need to be very watchful of their small children while they are playing on the Giddyup N Go Pony.  The littlest kids will most likely need a lift to get into the saddle and then also need help getting down.  There is a brake level on the handlebars, but it stops the pony over a few seconds as opposed to stopping it on a dime.  If you plan to let your child ride the pony down the sidewalk, you’ll want to walk right alongside your child and the pony as riding it off the end of the sidewalk and into the street will cause a crash and possible injury.  Your child can use the handlebars to steer, but may not be able to turn it all the way around to go the other direction down the sidewalk without assistance from an adult.  And as with any ride on toy, kids should wear a helmet and other safety gear to make sure that kids are as safe as possible in case he or she should fall.  You can keep your child safe on the Giddyup N Go Pony by observing a few good sense safety precautions and keep this as one of the top toys 2008 on your child’s list of favorites.
