Crayola Undersea Adventures

Years ago, a box of crayons was all the company had to offer. Now though, Crayola has boomed, and along with all sorts of new, unique crayon colors, they also make various coloring games and stories. Crayola Undersea Adventures is one of the many color stories the company makes for children to indulge in.

Color Away

The Crayola Undersea Adventures color stories comes in a large box, costing around $19.99. While some parents may view this as expensive, the amount of items that comes in the package actually makes it rather worthwhile.

Inside kids will find 3 24-page coloring books, an interactive story DVD, and 3 packs of 8 Crayola crayons. These are all meant for children who are ages 3 and up, and the variety can be good for parents who have more than one child. The different activities can give each one something to do. One child may prefer coloring all over the coloring books, whereas another may prefer to watch the DVD and listen to the stories.

Busy Parents

Some parents have already found that Crayola Undersea Adventures is a good way to keep kids occupied while they get a few things done around the house, whether it might be cooking or a little cleaning (though supervision is always important). Because the DVD is also interactive, it avoids mindless television watching, instead encouraging children to respond in some manner. The DVD even allows up to 3 players as it runs, so multiple kids can get in on the fun.

Of course, if children want to just color, that’s just as good. The number of pages in each coloring book can keep kids occupied for quite some time, and they will have plenty of crayons to color with. The entire package has an underwater theme, so most kids should enjoy the pictures and imaginative things (such as sunken ships and even mermaids).
